book signed, enjoy a delicious meal with other book lovers, and ask
questions.
Luncheon tickets are $28.00* and
are available online with a major credit card or by mail. Tickets will

Seating note: If you'd like to sit with
a group, please order that group's tickets at the same time (tables of
8). Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We are unable
to arrange reserved tables on the day of the event.

Lois Thome

Lois Thome co-anchors "WINK News at 5", "WINK News at
6:" and "WINK News at 7". She also co-hosts "Eye on Education at 5:30".
Lois joined WINK-TV in 1992 and since then has garnered many awards and
recognition including: The Best News Anchor in Southwest Florida, the
Phi Delta Kappa Lay Person of the Year, the Quill Pen Award from the
Florida Association of School Administrators, was named a Woman in
History from the American Business Women's Association, the Library
Advocate of the Year by the Southwest Florida Library Network and was
voted one of the top Women of the Year by Gulf Shore Life Magazine.
Lois is very involved in her community. For years she has volunteered
her time as a committee member for the Lee County Reading Festival,
served on the Crystal Heart committee for The Girl Scouts of Southwest
Florida, sits on the board of Gulf Coast High School's Sports and
Entertainment Marketing academy...and spends time in area schools
reading to children and mentoring students.

Florida journalist Jeff Klinkenberg, who writes about Florida culture for the
St. Petersburg Times, is the writer-in-residence for the
University of South Florida’s Florida Studies program. He is the
author of a new collection of essays, Pilgrim in the Land of
Alligators, published by University Press of Florida.

best seller.
